PUZZLES (Demo Album)

2015 - 2017

Michael Alfredo started a small career into the music world with his Debut Studio Album, released through online platforms such as SoundCloud, Google Play Music, and YouTube first (later released worldwide digitally.)

The project started on July of 2015, when Michael begun re-recording demo versions of 2 songs ("I'm Better!" & "Fly away...") and some Covers from other artists' songs, uploading them to YouTube.
On September of the same year, he announced a project under the name of Like a Kid - EP which was to feature 4 songs ("Mr. Unsmiley", "Savage", "Pumpkin Town" & "A Boy Like Me") but was dropped and all the Artwork was scrapped by the end of the month, with the songs remaining as demos.

By 25 December of 2015, Michael released two Behind the Scenes Interviews videos (one from each perspective of both the artist and the producer), along with his Debut Single "Fly away..." with a Music Video of its DEMO version as part of the marketing for what was supposed to be his Debut Studio Album under the title of A Darker Shade of Red, which, later on, was also dropped and replaced by the work title, Puzzles - EP.

After 15 Tracks were recorded until April of 2016 for the album, only 11 Tracks made it to the final cut (including a full band version of "Fly away..." and a longer and more Punkish version of "A Boy Like Me", with a slightly different title: "Just Like Me"), having the chance to release the material in a full length Studio Album titled Puzzles. One month before the official release, Michael released the album's first Single: "Unleashed!" along with a Music Video, announcing the Album's official title and date of release, along with a recording session at Lodi's small "Studio" of the song "Endless Summer Love".
Michael kept releasing Covers of other artists' songs even after the release of his studio album.
Michael started promoting his album with physical copies around his local city first, either giving them away or selling the album with demo versions of the songs. All copies were personalized differently, with 1 extra track of the songs that were recorded but weren't released and a unique cover on each CD. Initial standard copies of the physical version that were purchased included pictures taken and granted by Edennis de la Cruz and Jefferson Ruales (Michael's friends) who modeled for the song's pictures and booklet photo art. In later reprint* versions, the booklet format included pictures of Michael only and a puzzled-pattern can be found as background for the lyrics of the songs in the album.
On the album's final standard digital version, some tracks were trimmed down to reduce playtime length, and 1 Bonus Track was added ("Savage"). However, in the physical version, all extended versions of the songs can be found (Including 3+ Bonus Tracks depending on each version)

On July of 2016, Michael released a lyrics music video for "Pumpkin Town", announcing the title as the album's 2nd single to be released. And, by the end of August, he also released another Lyrics video of a demo song not released in Puzzles: "Then Phoenix from Ashes" (This song's DEMO version was available only in the limited FIRE Edition of the album, which was only available for Latino-America for a very short time - except Brazil)
Later, in October, a snippet of a new demo song on the work called "Frontier" was released on YouTube, along with another lyrics music video of "Endless Summer Love", to keep promoting the album.
Note: Both FIRE and Brasil Editions contain the Spanish version track "Coco Loco".

A special edition for Brazil only was released by mid December, including a Portuguese version, and a unique orchestral version of the song Just Like Me.

A Japan Edition was also meant to be released soon after Brazil's only special, including the track "Cookies" as an exclusive track. The edition was released on late December (Christmas' Eve) as a Deluxe Edition for Japan, Australia, USA, Canada & New Zealand only on Google Play only.
This Deluxe Edition contained 5 exclusive tracks. Additionally, an official music video to "Pumpkin Town" was released in 5 Dec, 2016.

After removing all digital versions of Puzzles from all available stores at that time, Michael reissued both an EP version and a full length Studio album digitally, titled, Puzzles Unleashed! that includes a currated tracklist and extended versions of some songs, as well as 4 new tracks. One last music video was released to promote the album: "One Day", August 6 of 2017.

 2017-2018:  Scrapped Debut Studio Album & Concept Kylan Harv started the recording process of his debut studio album in early 2017, from 24 April through November of 2017. The record's work title at the time was A Darker Shade of Red , and was intended for a release date of August 18, 2018. By October of 2017, Kylan posted a  teaser trailer  to announce the album's official title. However, the album and concept as a whole were dropped as Kylan was commited to college and other local projects such performing with bands,  live performances , and working on a  short film  with Frank Gigante. Additionally, Kylan went through a tumultuous relationship during January though July of 2018 which ultimately caused the album to be scrapped altogether.
