WHERE WILD THINGS ARE (Debut Album)
2017-2018: Scrapped Debut Studio Album & Concept
Kylan Harv started the recording process of his debut studio album in early 2017, from 24 April through November of 2017. The record's work title at the time was A Darker Shade of Red, and was intended for a release date of August 18, 2018.
By October of 2017, Kylan posted a teaser trailer to announce the album's official title. However, the album and concept as a whole were dropped as Kylan was commited to college and other local projects such performing with bands, live performances, and working on a short film with Frank Gigante. Additionally, Kylan went through a tumultuous relationship during January though July of 2018 which ultimately caused the album to be scrapped altogether.
Several singles were released in the advent of the scrapped album: Radical (Jun. 2017) under the artist name of Michael Alfredo, later re-released in 2018 under Kylan Harv; Jack Of All Trades (Oct, 17-2018); Monster (Oct, 27-2018), which was written and recorded in collaboration with Rodolfo Vasques who co-wrote the lyrics, and Jesus Rojas who served as a producer and studio mixer. Then Phoenix from Ashes was promoted through live performances, late made available digitally Feb, 27-2019.
The style of the album was heavily inspired by One Ok Rock's 35xxxv (2015), and Emilie Autumn's Opheliac (2006). Its concept was based on dealing with heartbreaks and suicidal thoughts.

2019: First EP
After almost 6 months without new music released, Kylan released a new single, The Broken Ones (April 27-2019) as part of a project titled The Evolution of a Demo, which was inteded to be an EP with Demo versions of works that Kylan recorded in collaboration with or for other artists such as Rudy Rex, Marvin Matias, Noemi Matteazzi, Khrist Ángela Morillo, Casey Rodríguez, and others... But was rapidely discarded.
By August of 2019, an untitled new single was announced, promising to jumpstart a new era and possibly the long-waited debut studio album. A coundown with several short videos and images were dropped to advertise the single, which was finally revealed to be titled FOREVER 21, released August 21, 2018. The song marked the new style and sound, obviously departing from the Punk Rock and alternative genre Kylan was previously pursuing.
In October of 2019, another single, GHOST was released with a little social media advertising, in collaboration with Marvin Matias.
By December of 2019, the official music video for Forever 21 was released, announcing the song title as the first single of his debut studio album.
In April of 2020, Kylan's first EP was finally released, a self-titled work that compiled 5 tracks: 1 new song, 1 single previously release, and 1 demo; as well as 1 live recording, and 1 acoustic version of previous songs. To promote it, an improvised lyrics video was first released for track #1 in May, followed almost immediately by the official music video of The Broken Ones in April. Ending with a homemade music video to the acoustic version of Then Phoenix from Ashes in May.
